Overview

WeLink is seeking a GIS Technician I to join our Network Planning team to assist in collecting and processing high-resolution imagery and elevation data, performing Line of Sight Analyses, and creating build plans for wireless internet networks.

In Short

Join WeLink's Network Planning team as a GIS Technician I.
Assist in collecting and processing high-resolution imagery and elevation data.
Perform detailed Line of Sight Analyses.
Create build plans for wireless internet networks.
Manage GIS data and perform spatial analysis.
Work with sales and install teams on critical infrastructure sites.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ArcGIS Pro is required.
0-4 years of experience in the GIS field is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Remote work available in multiple states.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
Experience using ArcGIS Pro and managing GIS data.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with ESRI products/tools.
Ability to work M-F with a rotating Saturday schedule.
Experience with Salesforce is a bonus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
