Transportation Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Oversee transportation operations support for the refrigerated network.
• Act as liaison between Welch's, carrier partners and the manufacturing/distribution sites.
• Oversee freight payment for refrigerated transportation.
• Process and oversee freight claims related to transportation issues.
• Work cross functionally with customer service, sales, distribution, procurement, planning and others.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure cost efficiencies and service quality.
• Monitor data flows to ensure synchronization of transportation information.
• Support the forecast and transportation budget process.
• Create standard operating procedures (SOP) for efficient execution.
• Network with peer companies and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related focus preferred.
• 3+ years of supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or logistics experience.
• Proficient computer skills, budget development and tracking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate in a team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 5-10%.
