In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services in C#/.NET 8.
• Build robust and secure RESTful APIs and distributed systems to support core game features.
• Collaborate closely with gameplay engineers, DevOps, product teams, and designers.
• Leverage Azure cloud services for deployments, databases, and infrastructure as code.
• Drive performance optimizations and contribute to monitoring and reliability efforts.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Champion engineering best practices.
• 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in gaming.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET ecosystem.
• Passion for games and understanding of player experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, ideally with .NET 8.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-based backend systems, preferably with Azure.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, networking, and data integrity.
• Familiarity with real-time multiplayer systems, session management, or live ops tooling.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes player experiences fun and seamless.
