Senior 3D Environment/Material Artist - Remote

We’re excited to launch a groundbreaking AAA game project and are looking for passionate, creative Senior 3D Environment/Material Artist to join our talented team. In this role, you’ll tackle a variety of challenges that will enhance your skills and allow you to influence the game’s visual style and overall direction. Our studio fosters a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and your contributions will have a direct impact on the game’s success.

In Short

• Design and develop high-quality PBR materials and textures for environments and assets within the game.
• Ensure all materials are optimized for real-time rendering on target platforms.
• Work closely with Environment Artists, Modelers, and other team members.
• Build, maintain, and regularly update a shared material library.
• Maintain visual consistency across different assets.
• Review and polish materials to ensure they meet the highest visual standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for material creation workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Material Artist in the video game industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in material creation and PBR workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of Substance Designer, Substance Painter, ZBrush, and other relevant software.
• Solid understanding of texture mapping and UV layout.
• Strong eye for detail, color, and composition.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
