Wandoo Finance is looking for a Country Manager to lead our entry into a new market, develop the business, and achieve operational excellence in a dynamic fintech environment.

In Short

Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve company goals in the local market.
Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion, keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
Oversee and manage daily operations, including business development and relationship management.
Provide input for developing local credit risk strategies.
Implement processes to improve operational effectiveness and streamline workflows.
Budgeting (implementation and control).
Prepare annual and semi-annual reports as required by laws.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory acts.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team.
Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve financial goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
At least 1 year of practical experience in a management position in a financial institution.
At least 2 years of experience in lending.
Deep understanding of financial services and regulatory frameworks.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Readiness to relocate.
