Advanced Pricing Analyst Intern - Remote

In Short

• Conduct detailed pricing analyses for various insurance products.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of pricing models.
• Collect and analyze relevant data to support pricing decisions.
• Participate in market studies and competitive analyses to evaluate pricing strategies.
• Assist senior actuaries in preparing reports and presentations for internal teams.
• Document pricing processes, assumptions, and analyses for future reference.
• Help prepare regulatory filings and necessary documents.
• Support ad-hoc actuarial projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.); experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, AKUR8) is a plus.
• Great attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, autonomous, and agile.
• Fluent in French and English - a must at Wakam!
