In Short

Conduct detailed pricing analyses for various insurance products.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of pricing models.
Collect and analyze relevant data to support pricing decisions.
Participate in market studies and competitive analyses to evaluate pricing strategies.
Assist senior actuaries in preparing reports and presentations for internal teams.
Document pricing processes, assumptions, and analyses for future reference.
Help prepare regulatory filings and necessary documents.
Support ad-hoc actuarial projects.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.); experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, AKUR8) is a plus.
Great attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Curious, autonomous, and agile.
Fluent in French and English - a must at Wakam!
