Program Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Program Manager to join our Product team at Wagepoint. This role is critical to driving operational excellence during a period of significant platform evolution.

In Short

• Lead the coordination of key cross-functional initiatives.
• Oversee the migration of customers from the legacy platform to the new experience.
• Manage incident response efforts during high-severity production incidents.
• Coordinate product launch processes with various teams.
• Ensure alignment, momentum, and strong delivery across teams.
• Communicate regularly with senior leadership on migration progress.
• Establish tools and dashboards to track progress.
• Identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Work in a remote environment and keep distributed teams aligned.
• Contribute to the growth and success of Wagepoint.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
• Experience in the fintech or payroll space is a plus.
• Familiarity with incident management frameworks.
• Experience working with small businesses is advantageous.
