Billing Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for billing, payment processing, and maintenance of Annual Account Fees on all client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely collection of fees while maintaining positive relationships with internal departments.

In Short

• Process credit card, ACH, invoices, and direct debit transactions.
• Complete daily processing of collecting fees.
• Manage client advisor billing and maintenance.
• Review and process high volume of client account fee waivers.
• Research and respond to inquiries through various communication channels.
• Maintain client accounting records and payment methods.
• Conduct daily balancing reports and monthly fee reconciliation audits.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
• Ensure processing meets established service levels with accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Proactive and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with trust accounting systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of IRA/IRS rules is a plus.
• Reliable internet service for remote work.
