Inventory Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Inventory Analyst at 3M will provide inventory accounting and costing services to subsidiaries, working with both legacy systems and SAP during the transition period.

In Short

• Provide inventory accounting services to 3M subsidiaries.
• Work with both Legacy System and SAP during the transition.
• Ensure compliance with 3M Financial Standards and SOX regulations.
• Prepare manual journal entries and reconcile balance sheets.
• Lead inventory closing operations for subsidiaries.
• Update unit costs and run costing for new material numbers.
• Engage in internal/external audits and tax audits.
• Enhance KPIs to improve productivity and service quality.
• Participate in accounting centralization activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with finance teams in other countries.

Requirements

• Accounting degree with experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of inventory accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP (minimum 2 years).
• Experience in a Shared Service Center is preferred.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Detail-oriented with a client service mindset.
• Flexible and willing to learn new systems.
• Strong communication skills across functions and cultures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
