Senior Cybersecurity and IT Assessor - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Cybersecurity and IT Assessor, you will support a government cybersecurity assessment and oversight program focused on strengthening enterprise security governance, operational resilience, and mission assurance.

In Short

• Conduct technical, operational, and programmatic inspections and audits.
• Provide task leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Analyze and present IT and cybersecurity technical information.
• Support continuous improvement of the cybersecurity assessment program.
• Develop and maintain assessment methodologies and standards.
• Support strategic planning and program oversight initiatives.
• Provide executive-level input on program status and performance metrics.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Stay current on emerging threats and cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification at IAT Level III or IAM Level III.
• Expert-level experience in IT and cybersecurity inspections.
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Active DOE Q Clearance or Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
