Course Material Management Specialist - Remote

Overview

VitalSource is hiring a Course Material Management Specialist to contribute to our Procurement team located in preferred locations such as Raleigh NC, Chicago IL, Franklin TN, or Boston MA. Applicants outside of these preferred locations will still be considered. There is a 10% travel requirement for this role.

In Short

• Ensure timely and accurate order placement by monitoring workflow efficiency.
• Monitor and review reports to identify and implement quick resolutions to issues.
• Ensure requested titles that are not in our database are setup correctly for sourcing.
• Ensure new vendors are setup in all required systems and conform to set guidelines.
• Collaborate with CSMs and AEMs to provide assistance as needed.
• Ensure all required materials for each school are ordered, received, and ready for shipment.
• Ensure all titles and their availability are noted with correct information.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in ecommerce: logistics, operations, or inventory control or related field.
• Prefer previous experience in a College Bookstore.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze multiple data sources and make informed decisions.
• Highly meticulous with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage technology and data-driven insights.
• Proactive in evaluating and optimizing existing processes.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak business cycles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate-level functions.
