Financial Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Financial Accountant, you will be joining our Global Finance Team at Virtuagym, a remote-friendly company, where you can work from home or our office in Medellin, Colombia.

In Short

• Maintain and optimize company financial operations.
• Execute accounting operations to meet legal requirements.
• Manage financial activities including bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
• Prepare and process payments to suppliers and tax authorities.
• Collaborate with the Finance Team to streamline financial planning.
• Timely processing of month-end adjustments.
• Work within a diverse and international finance team.
• Work from various locations within the Americas for up to 12 weeks a year.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards and local regulations.
• 1-5 years of experience in Finance and accounting.
• Proven experience in accounting activities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience with accounting ERP systems like Netsuite or Stripe is a plus.
• Proactive and dynamic work ethic.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.
• Understanding of data privacy standards.
