Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We’re not your average accounting firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast growing, tech forward tax and accounting company. We are looking for a curious, ambitious, detail oriented, and hard working accountant to help launch our team to the next evolution of growth. As a plus - this position is fully remote!

In Short

• Manage a book of clients, serving as their primary accounting contact
• Oversee and review work performed by junior accounting staff
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their financial needs
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses
• Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to clients
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
• Collaborate with other Managers and Partners in the firm for an optimized workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field
• 3 years professional experience as a bookkeeper and accountant
• Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
• Corporate and personal tax experience is a plus
• Exceptional computer skills
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and financial statements
• Outstanding communication skills
• Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong Oral and Written Skills Required
