In Short

• Work and practice medicine in austere and limited resource environments
• Perform special operations medical support providing initial combat trauma stabilization, enroute trauma care, and CASEVAC to definitive care
• Apply scientific knowledge to human treatment responses to actual or potential health problems
• Work with other members of a small team
• Establish IV access, administer medications and fluids as necessary
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
• Conduct critical care transport missions for ICU level patients
• Document care provided and complete medical records
• May function in a leadership position based on qualifications and experience
• Provide oversight and training to lower-level Medics

Requirements

• Availability for ~60-days on / ~60-days off rotational schedule
• Experience in emergency medical care
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of medical protocols and procedures
