Python Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

In this exciting role as a Python Backend Developer (m/f/d) you will contribute significantly to VERSO's sustainable success and growth.

In Short

• You will be responsible for building and optimizing features using Python Django Rest.
• You will develop solutions to automate complex compliance workflows and support efficient risk management in the supply chains of our customers.
• You will be responsible for ensuring high code efficiency, performance and automated testing.
• You will be able to bring in new ideas and contribute to technical strategies to make our product even better.
• You will be working in a highly efficient team with interfaces to other teams such as product management, design and DevOps.

Requirements

• You have a background in computer science with a minimum of 3 years of working experience.
• You have solid and profound experience with Python Django (Rest).
• You are experienced and have worked with Rest architectures in general.
• You have a quick understanding of complex requirements.
• You ideally have already worked in a start-up/scale-up context, you are familiar with the SaaS industry and you feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• You are interested in sustainability.
• You are able to switch between working independently and self-responsibly on projects and close collaboration with your team.
• You have a permanent residency in Germany and are ideally located in the Cologne area.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written and ideally have basic German skills.
