Overview

You are a motivated and skillful Bookkeeper, eager to take on more responsibility in an expanding role within our growing global Finance team. As a bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing priorities, invoices, tax payments, performing real time bank reconciliations, and cash disbursements. You will approve invoices entered by other team members, work with global vendors (EMEA-APAC), and are expected to be an independent problem solver and a great team player who understands the bigger organizational picture.

In Short

  • Onboard new vendors and enter them into the system.
  • Manage AP balances, including processing and approving vendor invoices, maintaining approval flow, and ensuring accuracy of invoices and accounting.
  • Perform monthly vendor reconciliations.
  • Manage escalations and requests from vendors.
  • Prepare and manage payments cycle to local and global vendors, including uploading the payments to Israeli vendors in the MASAV system.
  • Independently track bank account balances and diligently perform bank reconciliations.
  • Credit card support and reconciliations, including posting transactions in the system.
  • Accrued and prepaid expenses booking.
  • Maintain fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Manage reporting to Israeli authorities (VAT, National Insurance, ITA regular payments).
  • Support in EOM and quarter-end closing, including reconciliations.
  • Perform other bookkeeping tasks as requested.
  • Assist with AR collection periodically as needed.
  • Work in a multi-currency environment.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Bookkeeping diploma.
  • 4+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Excel.
  • Fluent in English, speaking, reading, and email communication.
  • Experience in reporting to Israeli VAT, Income tax, and national insurance authorities.
  • Work experience with global and local vendors.
  • Experience working in a global company in the high-tech sector.
  • Accuracy, great attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Open-minded and adaptable, experience in working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP (advantage).
  • Service-oriented, friendly, communicates positively. Enjoys working in a team and being a team player.
  • Has a passion for learning new things and expanding responsibilities.
