Project Engineer - Electrical Commissioning - Remote

Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the commissioning of electrical systems, primarily in data center environments. The role requires a self-motivated professional with a strong understanding of building electrical systems design and construction.

In Short

• Commission electrical distribution equipment and related controls.
• Review system designs for compliance with client goals.
• Conduct commissioning activities from design to occupation phase.
• Attend factory testing and document procedures.
• Conduct functional testing and measure results.
• Document all field procedures and report on system performance.
• Coordinate and execute field activities with project teams.
• Assist in training Associate Project Engineers.
• Comply with safety requirements.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of mission critical project experience.
• Experience in Mission Critical facility commissioning.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE or BCxA commissioning guidelines preferred.
• Understanding of building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems.
• Professional Engineers (PE) License or commissioning certification is a plus.
