Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

As an Operations Manager, you will drive all operational activities at our SEVESO sites in Beerse and Jumet, ensuring effective execution of operations and projects while adhering to legislation, budget, timelines, customer service, and quality.

In Short

• Lead operational processes in collaboration with site managers and logistics manager.
• Develop operational strategy based on market trends and regulations.
• Establish and maintain a master plan for each site.
• Monitor project progress and implement solutions.
• Encourage innovation and investment while managing related budgets.
• Supervise and develop the operational team of approximately 70 employees.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Prioritize safety for employees, clients, visitors, and the environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in site management in a technical/industrial environment.
• Experience in the chemical sector is a major asset.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations within SEVESO organizations.
• Bilingual in Dutch/French and good command of English.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Practical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Project management experience.
• Enthusiastic, curious, and positive attitude.
