Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for driving all operational activities at the SEVESO sites in Beerse and Jumet, ensuring efficient execution of operations and projects while adhering to legislation, budget, timing, customer service, and quality.

• Lead operational processes in collaboration with Site Managers and Logistics Manager.
• Develop operational strategies aligned with market trends and regulations.
• Create and maintain a master plan for each site.
• Monitor project progress and implement solutions.
• Encourage innovation and investment while managing budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coach and develop the operational team.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Prioritize safety for employees, customers, visitors, and the environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site management in a technical/industrial environment.
• Experience in the chemical sector is a strong asset.
• Thorough knowledge of safety regulations within SEVESO organizations.
• Fluent in Dutch/French and good command of English.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management.
• Enthusiastic, curious, and positive attitude.
