Overview

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) – Microbiology Specialist will provide routine to complex field service and support for endotoxin and bioburden analytical instruments at customer sites throughout the United States, requiring residency within the Denver Metropolitan area.

In Short

  • Provide field service and support for endotoxin and bioburden analytical instruments.
  • Travel to customer sites across the United States with some travel to Canada and Puerto Rico.
  • Perform maintenance, verification, validation, repair, and calibration duties.
  • Conduct user training and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Frequent overnight travel required (approximately 70% of the time).
  • Maintain administrative duties and parts inventory.
  • Write clear reports for customers and participate in service team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in endotoxin and bioburden testing.
  • Strong technical, mathematical, and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of cGMP/GLP practices.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to handle analytical instrumentation and chemicals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage schedules effectively.
