Overview

The Data Governance Architect plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization's data is accurate, consistent, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations. This position involves implementing and maintaining data governance policies, technologies, and support structure; managing data quality; and supporting data stewardship across the organization.

In Short

  • Implement the data governance program vision using Data Governance technology.
  • Provide authority for all Data Governance oversight and support for Asset Management.
  • Understand various data storage solutions, including Lakehouse architecture.
  • Oversee processes, policies, and standards for data management.
  • Develop and communicate Data Governance policies to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business units for analytical needs.
  • Mentor junior Data Governance Analysts.
  • Conduct research on products and tools for data governance.
  • Experience in healthcare data is preferred.
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8 years in Data Governance/Management.
  • 5 years SQL experience.
  • 5 years Healthcare domain experience.
  • In-depth experience in Data Governance Policies and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience utilizing Agile methodology.
  • Strong SQL skills required.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure/GCP preferred.
  • Displays intellectual curiosity and integrity.
