Bridge Engineer II - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Bridge Engineer II at Parsons, where you will work on a variety of bridge design projects and contribute to the team's success.

In Short

• Develop contract documents for bridge structures.
• Produce detailed drawings under senior engineer's oversight.
• Participate in field inspections of long-span bridges.
• Perform engineering tasks related to CAD drawings.
• Prepare engineering computations and material quantity takeoffs.
• Review contractor drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
• Provide direction to CAD Designers and other Engineers.
• Work on signature bridge spans and diverse projects.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
• Join a team focused on delivering innovative bridge designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in bridge structure design.
• EIT certification is a plus.
• Experience with Design-Build project delivery is a plus.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Revit and analysis software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to participate in field inspections.
