Director, Client Finance - Remote

Overview

The Director of Client Finance serves as the primary financial liaison between finance and operations, ensuring real-time alignment between project execution and revenue and profitability targets across all clients and service lines.

In Short

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end project forecasting process.
• Develop forward-looking indicators on revenue trends and risk.
• Produce monthly variance analysis for budget and forecast variances.
• Oversee revenue recognition and project reconciliation processes.
• Support the CFO in strategic and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Own Power BI reporting layer for project analysis.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate variance analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate and recommend system improvements for reporting.
• Serve as a financial partner for operations.
• Lead cross-functional reviews of project performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
• 8–12 years of experience in financial/project analysis.
• Minimum 3 years of direct people leadership experience.
• Exceptional communication skills for non-financial audiences.
• Proven success in improving forecast accuracy.
• Expert-level proficiency with Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Fluency with AI tools, specifically Claude AI.
• Strong understanding of project-based revenue recognition.
