Overview

Valsoft is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage financial reporting and analysis for a portfolio of acquired companies, ensuring compliance and guiding complex accounting issues.

In Short

• Monitor and analyze performance strategies to meet financial targets.
• Drive financial planning and analyze risks using KPI frameworks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for portfolio companies.
• Build and manage forecasts and track KPIs.
• Ensure positive cash flow and financial health of the portfolio.
• Oversee accounting tasks including tax and compliance.
• Lead the financial close process for portfolio companies.
• Develop strategies for ROI and profitability.
• Support Netsuite rollout and financial integration of new acquisitions.
• Train and develop a high-performing finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance roles, including team management.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and risk management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP is an asset.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
