Gaming/Streaming Segment Lead - Remote

Overview

This position will operate on a remote, contractual basis. Candidates must reside in the U.S. or Canada, or in countries within a few hours of the EST time zone. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Segment Lead to oversee daily editorial operations and ensure the publication of best tech content.

• Track and report on content performance metrics using analytics tools identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Oversee editorial workflow, ensuring efficient processes from ideation to publication.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new content ideas and formats.
• Assist in training new editorial staff and freelance writers.
• Ensure compliance with editorial guidelines and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an editorial leadership role, preferably in the media or digital publishing industry.
• Strong knowledge and passion for the tech industry, with a keen understanding of trends and news.
• Excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines.
• Experience managing an editorial team, including full-time staff and freelance writers.
• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred.
