Freelance Social Media Coordinator - Remote

Overview

This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be located in the UK. The Freelance Social Media Coordinator will help with the day-to-day operations of the GIVEMESPORT channels on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X, focusing on creating topical football content that aligns with the brand's values.

In Short

• Establish graphic branding for multiple social media pages.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create social media strategy.
• Brainstorm daily ideas for posts to generate engagement.
• Cover high-profile football events and create engaging posts.
• Create graphics as requested to support the editorial team.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
• Source and post relevant video content across social channels.
• Execute paid social initiatives as instructed.
• Analyze performance of content to identify key trends.
• Leverage social media marketing tools for campaign management.

Requirements

• Proven experience with a sports brand's Facebook page.
• Experience creating effective posts for major social media platforms.
• Strong Adobe Photoshop skills and ability to create graphics quickly.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a plus.
• A passion for and up-to-date understanding of football.
• Video experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• Must be located in the UK.
• Work on a shift basis (about 10 to 15 shifts per month).
