Freelance Social Media Coordinator (Football) - Remote

Overview

This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis, requiring candidates to be located in the UK. The role involves managing GIVEMESPORT's social media channels and creating engaging football content.

In Short

• Establish graphic branding for multiple social media pages.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and execute social media strategy.
• Brainstorm daily ideas for posts to generate engagement.
• Cover high-profile football events and create engaging posts.
• Create graphics to support the editorial team.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
• Source and post compelling video content across social channels.
• Execute paid social initiatives as instructed.
• Analyze content performance to identify trends.
• Leverage social media marketing tools for campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience with a sports brand's Facebook page.
• Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
• Strong Adobe Photoshop skills for creating images.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a plus.
• Passion for and understanding of football is required.
• Video experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• Must be located in the UK.
• Work on a shift basis (about 10 to 15 shifts per month).
