Systems Engineer - Telecommunications and Networking - Remote

Overview

Spirent is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer in Telecommunications and Networking to help drive sales in the Federal segment in Test and Measurement and cellular technologies.

In Short

• Specialize in pre-sales activities as a technical subject matter expert.
• Drive technical end-to-end solutions for clients.
• Participate in solution development and technical presentations.
• Create design documentation and assist with technical questions.
• Act as a liaison between sales and engineering groups.
• Lead customer proof of concepts and engage directly with customers.
• Work with automation and software development.
• Manage lifecycle of trouble tickets.
• 30% domestic travel required, 5% international travel.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in related occupation.
• Experience in product/service development processes.
• Knowledge of wireless technology and cellular certification testing.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Experience with programming languages: C/C++, Java, Tcl, Perl, Python.
• Understanding of 3GPP and IEEE standards.
• Ability to develop relationships within engineering organizations.
• Experience with RF debugging equipment.
• Strong communication skills for customer engagement.
