Commercial Finance Business Partner - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making across the business. Working closely with Sales, and wider operational teams, you’ll provide insight, challenge, and analysis to drive profitable growth.

In Short

• Provide commercial support for revenue, pricing, and margin management.
• Support the NPD process regarding financial implications.
• Assist the demand planning team in testing demand plan assumptions.
• Provide ad-hoc commercial support as requested.
• Review the forecast for accuracy and provide commentary on variances.
• Work with the Sales Team on budgets and long-term plans.
• Review month-end performance and ensure accuracy of reported numbers.
• Conduct variance analysis on actual performance vs comparatives.
• Support month-end reporting and product margin analysis.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews with Sales.

Requirements

• Studying for ACCA or CIMA or fully qualified.
• Excellent understanding of financial analytics.
• Highly IT literate with knowledge of ERP systems.
• Excellent report building skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage day-to-day issues and developmental projects.
• Structured and systemized approach.
• Commercially focused with a keen eye for details.
• Willingness to be hands-on.
