Overview

The Burn Crew Manager supervises and mentors a squad of Crew Members in wildland fire activities, participating in various tasks related to fire management and land preservation.

• Supervise and mentor crew members during fire operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 1-year training in fire operations or related experience.
• Qualified Fire Fighter Type 1 certification.
• Two or more seasons as a Senior Burn Crew Member.
• Ability to meet physical fitness standards.
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Willingness to obtain related licenses and certifications.
• Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with PC and database management.
