Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting and Policy - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Manager in our Revenue & O2C Accounting organization, you will be responsible for owning technical revenue policy, leading contract reviews, and managing SKU governance to ensure compliance and efficiency in revenue recognition.

• Own and maintain global revenue recognition policy framework under ASC 606.
• Lead end-to-end revenue contract review process for complex deals.
• Draft high-quality technical accounting memos documenting analyses and conclusions.
• Design and strengthen controls around SKU creation and management.
• Provide training and enablement for cross-functional teams on revenue policies.
• Identify and drive process improvements across revenue policy and contract review.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors on revenue policies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and RevOps to influence contract terms.
• Mentor team members on technical accounting and documentation best practices.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation for revenue recognition processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Deep expertise with ASC 606 and contract modifications.
• Experience in technology or subscription-based businesses.
• Proven track record in leading complex contract reviews.
• Exceptional technical writing skills for policy documentation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Prior leadership experience in revenue accounting.
