Contract Bidding Manager - Remote

Overview

Upwork has partnered with the leading provider of Information Technology consulting and business process services. They are currently looking for a Contract Bidding Manager who will oversee the end-to-end bidding process, from identifying opportunities and developing proposals to securing contracts.

In Short

• Monitor State and Federal procurement portals for potential bids.
• Lead creation of quality proposals for RFPs.
• Develop effective bid strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with agencies.
• Work with legal and finance for contract review.
• Maintain bidding records and provide regular reports.
• Collaborate with sales to evaluate opportunities.
• Analyze operational and financial data.
• Ensure compliance and manage bidding process.
• Conduct thorough market analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Bidding Manager or similar role.
• Extensive experience in bidding for State and Federal clients.
• In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Amenable to work for overlapping of 4 hours in EST time zone.
