Traveling Superintendent - Remote

Overview

Uprite Construction is looking for a highly capable and flexible Traveling Superintendent to join our growing team, managing commercial construction projects from start to finish, particularly those involving tenant improvements and ground-up construction.

In Short

• Oversee daily job site operations, including subcontractor coordination and quality control
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a clean, safe job site
• Manage inspections, RFIs, and subcontractor scopes of work
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and trades on and off site
• Maintain detailed documentation of job progress, issues, and resolutions
• Travel as required for projects following the initial local assignment

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven experience in both tenant improvement (TI) and ground-up project delivery
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and safety protocols
• Willingness to travel for extended periods following the initial local assignment
• Proficiency in reading plans, coordinating trades, and managing multiple phases
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally and nationally
