Traveling Construction Superintendent - Remote

Overview

The Traveling Construction Superintendent at Mill Creek is responsible for planning, managing, and executing construction projects, ensuring timely and profitable completion while supervising subcontractors and maintaining communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (highly preferred).
• 5 to 10+ years of construction experience with at least 5 of those years as a superintendent or similar role, preferably on federal contracts.
• Experience in and ability to utilize the 3-phase inspection program.
• Demonstrated knowledge and track record of contract compliance in government construction.
• Must have an instructor-signed OSHA 30-hour training card.
• Must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
• Must be capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
• USACE CQM desired.
• Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling software desired (Primavera is preferred, but MS Project is also acceptable).
• Ability to understand document changes and impact to the project schedule.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
