ENAMINE, a leading global research company specializing in fine organic synthesis, is seeking a System Administrator / System Administrator Assistant to join our dynamic team in Riga, Latvia. Our company is at the forefront of pharmaceutical and biotechnological research, collaborating with world-renowned organizations.

In Short

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to users.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and applications.
• Configure email systems and perform migrations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure network devices such as switches and routers.
• Implement antivirus measures.
• Maintain and configure peripherals including printers, multifunction devices, and scanners.
• Administer Windows servers (terminal servers, domain controllers).
• Restore system functionality after hardware failures.

Requirements

• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of computer network principles and common network protocols.
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP services.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and hubs.
• Experience with Active Directory and Terminal Services.
• Understanding of PC hardware.
• Experience with accounting software (1C, Medoc).
• Experience with retail equipment (Zebra, Honeywell scanners, Axis scales, TSC label printers) is a plus.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
