Overview

The Basic Program Instructor teaches from a four-year curriculum of Classical and Western core texts, utilizing the Socratic method of discussion and analysis, in both online and onsite formats.

• Participate in monthly staff meetings and departmental activities.
• Work independently and guide groups of students.
• Review and modify program curriculum.
• Minimum of 3 hours of active instruction per week.
• Continued employment based on annual review.

Requirements

• College or university degree in a related field.
• 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with adult, non-traditional students preferred.
• Background in leading live, online classes preferred.
