Overview

The Instructor is a self-starter with an adaptive work style who is passionate about helping others reach their health goals. They will work with SNAP-Ed target populations providing instruction and education to energetic groups.

In Short

• Lead physical activity program and provide nutrition education to SNAP-Ed target audiences.
• Attend training on curricula to ensure program fidelity.
• Participate in local community events.
• Create and maintain relationships with program participants.
• Promote classes via social media and community networks.
• Adapt teaching style to accommodate various fitness levels.
• Maintain professionalism and reliability.
• Proficient in using technology (Zoom).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of instruction experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional knowledge in nutrition education curricula preferred.
