Overview

The Supply Technician is responsible for proper handling and dispensing of medical/surgical supplies in clinical areas, ensuring accurate inventory management and support for healthcare operations.

• Responsible for ordering and filling medical/surgical supplies.
• Checks inventory levels and manages replenishment orders.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of supply areas.
• Issues and records supplies delivered through various methods.
• Performs cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Rotates supplies based on FIFO principles.
• Staffs the Central Supply dispatch window as assigned.
• Handles after hour deliveries of supplies as needed.

• Collaborates with healthcare teams to support patient care.

Requirements

• High School/GED or equivalent education.
• Six months experience in supply distribution, preferably in healthcare.
• Ability to lift and manipulate supplies as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies is a plus.
• Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening.
