The Ophthalmic Assistant (OA) plays a crucial role in providing direct patient care, assisting with various ophthalmic procedures, and ensuring a high standard of patient interaction and support.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED preferred.
  • Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
  • One year of experience in ophthalmic or medical assisting preferred.
  • Ability to perform various eye tests and measurements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail in patient assessments and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to patient care and safety.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the USA required.
