Nurse Educator, Pediatrics - Remote

Overview

The Nurse Educator will work within the Family Medicine Clinic to implement and promote an Evidence-Based program focused on maintaining a Patient and Family Centered Care approach, particularly for pediatric patients.

In Short

• Develop clinical strategies for Well Child Checks for children aged 0-5.
• Oversee Community Health Worker call encounters for patient follow-up care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure optimal care for high-priority beneficiaries.
• Support Family Medicine Residency through education and skills training.
• Promote screenings and health education for children and families.
• Participate in community education activities.
• Utilize program management software and electronic health records.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide training opportunities for clinic staff.
• Engage with community stakeholders for health equity initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with relevant experience.
• Valid Arkansas Registered Nursing license.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience in a clinical environment.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of community health principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records systems.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Marshallese preferred.
