Overview

The Histotechnician at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is responsible for executing histologic techniques on patient specimens to assist in pathological diagnoses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with HT (ASCP) certification or eligible.
• 60 semester hours with biology and chemistry coursework.
• 1 year of full-time clinical experience in histopathology preferred.
• Certification as HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) is a plus.
• Strong skills in multi-tasking and communication.
