The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a motivated Histotechnician to join the pathology grossing department, where you will collaborate closely with residents and pathologists in tissue processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with HT (ASCP) certification or equivalent education.
• Must obtain ASCP HT certification within one year of training.
• Preferred: 1 year clinical experience in a histopathology lab.
• Capable of performing preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
• Ability to assist with autopsies as needed.
• Must have proof of legal authority to work in the USA.
• Annual TB screening and background checks required.
