Overview

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the residency/fellowship program and contribute to the success of the program through support of the program director in accreditation efforts, educational programming and support of residents.

In Short

  • Manage day-to-day operations of residency/fellowship programs.
  • Support program director in accreditation efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between program and trainees, faculty, and administration.
  • Manage ACGME Accreditation Data System (ADS).
  • Participate in program improvement plans and evaluations.
  • Oversee program budget and purchasing processes.
  • Plan and implement annual events related to the program.
  • Manage online residency programs and data sources.
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.
  • Maintain program website and promotional materials.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED with seven years of professional administrative experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years of GME program coordination experience preferred.
  • TAGME certification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with data management and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of ACGME policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
