Overview

The Endoscopy Technician assists physicians in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting, providing support to patients and ensuring high standards of care.

• Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Completion of Endoscopy Technician course within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous experience as an Endoscopic Technician preferred.
• Patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to perform under supervision.
