Overview

The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Virtual Behavioural Medicine Program, part of the Geriatric Psychiatry Services at Toronto Rehab. This role involves supporting individuals with dementia and responsive behaviors in long-term care homes across Ontario.

• Full-time temporary position at Toronto Rehab, University Centre.
• Work in a hybrid model, primarily virtually.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in geriatric care.
• Expertise in managing behavioral symptoms of dementia.
• Experience with medically complex older adults.
• Comfortable in a virtual work environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under stress.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to collaborative practice.
