Financial Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

As a Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, supporting accounts payable, and participating in monthly and annual financial statements.

In Short

• Independent management of accounts receivable including invoice creation and dunning
• Review and booking of travel expense reports
• Support in accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• Participation in monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Reconciliation of business transactions within the group
• Preparation of monthly group reporting
• Creation of VAT advance returns and statistics
• Point of contact for employees, authorities, and insurance companies
• Collaboration on forecasts, budgets, and controlling tasks for process optimization

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training, ideally with further training as a financial or balance accountant (m/f/d), or a degree with a focus on accounting
• At least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Solid knowledge in accounting according to HGB and VAT law
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage, as well as secure user knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
