Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

This position is for an experienced accountant who will work on complex accounting and tax issues within the general ledger, with a focus on creating monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and local GAAP.

In Short

• Work on complex accounting and tax issues in the general ledger.

• Process business transactions in main and subsidiary ledgers.
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Prepare financial statements for selected branches and correspond with foreign tax advisors.
• Contribute to solving accounting-related questions with high accuracy and expertise.

Requirements

• Completed studies in economics or comparable commercial training with further education in accounting.
• Relevant professional experience in preparing monthly financial statements according to HGB and IAS/IFRS.
• Basic knowledge of corporate taxation.
• High reliability, flexibility, and strong team skills.
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are a plus.
• Solid knowledge in common ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel for financial data analysis.
