Personal Injury Protection Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a PIP Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing Personal Injury Protection claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.

In Short

• Review and assess PIP claims to determine coverage eligibility.
• Analyze medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
• Interpret insurance policies and state regulations.
• Communicate with claimants and other parties involved in the claim process.
• Provide explanations of coverage decisions to claimants.
• Conduct interviews with claimants.
• Maintain accurate and organized claim files.
• Identify other applicable claims exposures.
• Issue payments for approved claims.
• Ensure compliance with state laws and company policies.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active Adjuster’s license.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and internet usage.
• Good judgment and assertiveness.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Team-oriented with independent work capability.
