Manager, Internal Controls Assurance – Americas - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Internal Controls Assurance at UMG is responsible for developing and executing the internal control assurance program to ensure effective risk management and compliance across the organization.

In Short

• Support the development and execution of the Internal Control Assurance Program.
• Enhance internal control processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop testing plans to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with various business functions and compliance teams.
• Perform assessments and reviews of controls in regional Operating Companies.
• Facilitate training on internal control topics.
• Travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain compliance with governance and internal control regulations.
• Provide guidance and advice to management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit roles.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• CPA or other relevant certification required.
• Strong understanding of internal control regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with accounting software.
• Knowledge of IT General Controls and operational risk areas.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
