Finance Manager - Work From Home - Remote

Overview

The Finance Manager will support one of the organisation’s emerging business units during a period of rapid growth, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and effective oversight of day-to-day accounting operations. The role is hands-on and suited to a commercially minded finance professional who can operate independently within a small team environment.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end financial operations for the business unit, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain accounting practices related to R&D activities, technology development costs, and inventory management.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes (approximately one day per week).
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory obligations, and accounting standards.
• Provide financial modelling, budgeting support, and scenario analysis to assist with commercial decision-making.
• Assist with year-end processes, audits, and tax-related requirements.
• Operate independently while collaborating with senior leadership as needed.
• Implement and improve financial processes, reporting frameworks, and operational systems to support business growth.
• Provide financial guidance to operational teams and assist with interpreting results and performance indicators.
